This excursion is recommended for people who: have experience in hiking and do not have heart or lung diseases.

For this type of route, it is essential to wear appropriate clothing such as waterproof or quick-dry pants, thermal leggings, and a waterproof jacket. You can find these garments in our online store.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1:

• Departure from Manizales (6:00 am) or Pereira (5:00 am) 
• Breakfast at 7:00 am
• Acclimatization hike passing by Laguna Verde (4-hour hike).
• Lunch
• Equipment induction talk
• Dinner
• Rest at the hotel

DAY 2: 

• At 1:00 am, transport will take you to the meeting point where the hike will begin
• Summit attempt at 2:00 am (10-hour hike)
• Return to the meeting point for transport (2:00 pm).

• Arrival time: 5:00 pm

🚫 ENTRY RESTRICTIONS:

• People over 69 years old and children under 6 years old.
• People with heart conditions
• People with respiratory conditions.
• People who have had recent surgery.
• Pregnant women.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• The price is subject to change depending on the season.
• To reserve the tour, a 50% deposit is required, with the remaining 50% payable on the tour date.
• For private excursions or group tours, if any participant cancels on the same day of the tour or one day before, the remaining participants must cover the difference.

An additional cost for foreigners without Colombian nationality is $35,000 COP. This covers the extra fee for accessing national parks.
